Britta Giersche

“Learning a language is like taking a short vacation in other people’s lives.”

I am a German lecturer at Imperial College London and a native German speaker. I graduated from Hildesheim University with a MA in Cultural Education.

Then I went on to teach German at institutions of Higher Education in London, Sheffield and Leeds and became a writer and editor of MFL material for the Open University and Scholastic.

I have over 20 years experience in teaching, designing and producing German educational content and I am passionate about introducing real life into German language learning.
